- Proceedings from the 1999 Workshop on Applications of NASA Technology for Biodiversity Conservation
The rapid, human-caused loss of biodiversity is one of today's major global environmental issues. A deep concern over the rate of biodiversity loss and an appreciation that tools used by NASA to understand our global environment can also answer conservationists' questions laid the foundation for a workshop on the Applications of NASA Technology for Biodiversity Conservation.
- Proceedings from the 1997 Symposium on Conservation Biology and NASA: New Opportunities for Research and Applications
These proceedings review the outcomes of ten pilot projects supported by NASA and recommend areas for future NASA research and applications activities in conservation biology.
